Yourbana: Urban Video Festival
Yourbana is an urban video festival that transforms public transport into a stage for citizen creativity. The project invites young Romans to capture their daily experiences on public transport, then features their work on digital screens throughout the city, celebrating the collective pulse of Rome in a uniquely artistic way.

Bisuala
Working alongside Angelica (strategy) and Erik (web design), Bisuala were brought in to translate Yourbana’s youthful, artistic, and optimistic spirit into motion.
Their process began by defining clear, purposeful motion guidelines, which we presented to the main sponsors, Mastercard and Atac. The positive feedback provided a solid foundation for all animated elements that followed.
The Yourbana motion guidelines were crafted to support three core principles:
01
Energetic Flow
Motion expresses the constant movement and dynamism of city life, using rapid transitions and bold entrances/exits that echo the pulse of Rome’s streets and public transport.
02
Optimistic Rhythm
Animations feature bouncy, upbeat timing and playful easing, designed to spark curiosity and joy—reflecting the positive, open energy of the festival.
03
Clarity and Accessibility
Every animation serves a functional purpose: guiding attention, highlighting user actions, and ensuring information is always clear and accessible across all public screens and devices.
The result is a cohesive, emotionally engaging motion system that supports Yourbana’s mission: amplifying young voices and turning the city into a participatory, interactive canvas.
