In a collaboration highlighting innovation in web3 communication, Algo partnered with Aave to develop a cutting-edge Data-viz Generator.
This bespoke tool empowers Aave to effortlessly create a continuous stream of branded data visualizations for their social media channels. Key features include direct data source integration, a real-time preview, and an integrated AI chatbot capable of generating visual assets in mere seconds.

The driving force behind prominent web3 initiatives such as the Aave lending protocol, the Family wallet (a previous collaborator), the GHO stablecoin, and the Lens social protocol is Avara.
Recognising the power of data-centric communication, Avara commissioned algo.tv to design a proprietary data visualisation language. The result is a user-friendly Generator, a tool that democratises content creation within Avara's team. Now, anyone can produce simple, on-brand data visualisations, both static and animated, tailored for their social media platforms.
At its core, the Generator utilises ten distinct animated components crafted by algo.tv. These encompass standard chart types like Line, Bar, and Pie, alongside a prominent Big Number display, a flexible Governance template (designed to amplify DAO forum discussions on social media), and two dedicated Partnerships templates.
Creating engaging video content requires no technical expertise. The application interface features a live preview on the left, mirroring the functionality of popular design software like Figma. Selecting an element in the preview reveals its customisation options on the right. Users can iteratively refine their visuals and then simply click "Create."
Video rendering is handled by Algo’s rapid and scalable serverless infrastructure, possessing the capacity to generate potentially millions of videos daily. The final tool is delivered to Avara as a desktop application via Electron.
Further enhancing its capabilities, an AI chatbot has been integrated. Users can input prompts, and the AI autonomously generates optimal animated data visualisations based on those requests.
Users can simply upload data in various formats (CSV, Excel, JSON, etc.), and the AI intelligently interprets it, selects the most appropriate visual component, and personalises all aspects, from colours to titles.
The generated animations can be further refined through continued interaction with the AI chatbot or by reverting to the user interface. Importantly, the underlying data sources are trusted on-chain sources, ensuring reliability and eliminating the risk of AI-generated inaccuracies.
These concise, fluid videos, typically 5-10 seconds long and exported at 60fps, are ideal for platforms like X (Twitter). Since the Generator's deployment, other web3 teams have begun manually creating similar graphics.
The Aave team actively uses the tool daily, with many of its outputs ranking among their top-performing social media posts. Explore their channels to see it in action.
