Simmer
Project
Simmer
Simmer is an online game platform where sports fans go head-to-head, putting their knowledge of basketball and other sports to the test by building fictional teams and watching the action play out.
That contest of intelligence, skill, and conviction sits at the heart of Simmer’s new visual identity.

The logo draws inspiration from the ancient lion hunt—the ultimate test of skill, strategy, and nerve.
Depicting a figure and lion locked in confrontation, the mark reflects what Simmer asks of its players: read the game, outthink a worthy opponent, and emerge victorious.
Inspired by ancient forms chiseled in stone, the identity brings that narrative into a contemporary sports platform through sharp geometry, strong diagonals, structured compositions, and constant motion.
The system extends across typography, layouts, motion, and UI, balancing the weight of the ancient reference with the speed and dynamism of the game.
Simmer is built for serious sports fans, drawing on decades of player and team stats to create real strategic depth. Its data visualization makes that information easy to parse, with cyan highlighting key moments against an otherwise warm palette inspired by the games of antiquity.
