WHOOP
WHOOP is a performance wearable designed to help people train smarter, recover faster and sleep better. Bolder partnered with the in-house creative team to develop a flexible CGI toolkit for the launch of WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, their latest technology offering advanced health and fitness sensing.
The launch required a flexible, scalable CGI system that could adapt to different materials, customisable bands and product variations, all while maintaining visual consistency across formats.

Each product tier (One, Life, and Peak) features
different materials and customisable bands.
We built a modular system that could adapt to each combination, platform, and output - while keeping a consistent visual style.
Designed to Scale
The toolkit was designed to flex across web, broadcast, and in-store - from homepage takeovers to motion edits and physical displays.
Lighting, textures, animation, and composition all
scaled with the system, making it easy for their teams
to repurpose and reuse across formats.
Form, Function, Flexibility
We built the full product range in CGI, applying
bespoke textures and shaders to match each
material tier.
A modular animation system enabled bands to be swapped, cameras repositioned, and compositions repurposed - making it easy for internal teams to generate assets across formats. Motion was used
to communicate the intricacies of the new range, highlighting functionality, structure, and
product behaviour.
Behind The Build
We began by analysing the physical products -
focusing on how bands connected and how materials responded to light.
Using product scans, reference photography, and samples, we built detailed 3D models to recreate texture, form, and finish with precision. Style frames
and motion studies refined the look, establishing
a visual language that balanced accuracy
with simplicity.
Delivering Launch Ready Assets
The final toolkit comprised over 100 high-quality CGI assets designed to support every part of the WHOOP 5.0 launch - from product pages and retail screens to motion edits and promotional campaigns. Each asset was accurate, flexible, and ready to roll out across all launch formats.
