ABOUT
Oddfellows are a visual strategy and storytelling studio with over a decade of experience shaping ambitious brands. They build powerful systems and immersive worlds that empower businesses to engage and grow.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a Junior to Mid-Level role. You don't need to have it all figured out, but you care deeply about the craft and want to keep getting better.
You should be comfortable in After Effects, with working knowledge of tools like Cinema 4D, Cavalry, Lottie, and Figma. Rive and generative experience are pluses.
You can ease in, and out. The term "motion behavior" means something to you. But you're also tuned into aesthetics and have opinions about design. While not your primary responsibility, you can support concept and story phases when needed.
The work you will touch spans our full range of animated output: design and brand films, motion systems, narrative animation, and animated illustration. Our team is small, highly collaborative, and has a shared appetite for making the best stuff out there.
ROLE RESPONSBILITIES
Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling motion graphics under the guidance of Senior Animators and Creative Directors.
Design and refine visual assets for use across digital, interactive, and multimedia projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards.
Assist in the development of storyboards, animatics, and mood boards to visualize concepts and plan the flow of animated sequences.
Prepare, organize, and optimize production-ready design assets while maintaining efficient workflows and file management.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to project planning and creative strategy.
Deliver final assets on schedule, adhering to technical specifications, brand guidelines, and platform requirements.
Engage in ongoing learning and skill development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
